Maggie Miller and Jordon Home

This home is our first handicap accessible.
Jordon needs everything to be wheelchair accessible and she needs around the clock care. Everything from the floor covering to the door openings and bath facilities must be taken into consideration when planning this type of home.

The wheelchair ramp leads up to the entrance of this unique and wonderful home.

Straight in from the entrance door you can look down the tiled hallway to the bedrooms at the rear of the house. Notice the doorways are angled. This allows a larger area for the wheelchair to turn around.

Jordon's bedroom is painted a cheerful rose. Notice the sink. This is needed for the continuing nursing care..

Here is the custom constructed ceramic tile shower allowing the chair to be wheeled right in.

There is a dining area off the kitchen with stylish lighting fixtures.

Dave Van Lente, The Builder.
