Believe it or not, planning has already begun for the 2008 Breakfast with Santa and the annual Festival of Trees dinner dance. Both events will be held on November 22 at the Cadillac Grill. The Breakfast is a gift to area children, but Festival of Trees is Wexford Habitat for Humanity’s most important fundraiser. Its success is dependent on the generosity of and creativity of individuals and businesses in our area. Cadillac Rotary will once again be our partner for the event.

Three large trees and at least a dozen smaller ones will be part of the live auction while many exciting donated items will be offered at silent auction. Rod and Amy Gibbs on Hagstrom’s Flowers and Sally Goggin and Sherry Thomsen of Van Drie Home Furnishings will design two of the large trees, and the third large tree will be designed by a “coalition” led by Susan Martz of Oak Heirlooms.

Please consider how you or your business might be able to help. Become a sponsor for one or both events, donate one or more items for the auction, or attend and participate in the auction! With your help, Habitat can provide affordable housing for deserving people in our county. Be a builder of hope! Keep the Christmas Spirit Alive!

Take a look at the Ticket/Donation Reply Form and get your tickets early. Maybe you can see where you may donate to the auction.
