Wexford Habitat for Humanity

Wexford Habitat for Humanity has built 20 homes in Wexford County since our founding in 1987. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which has been successfully helping families throughout the world for over 30 years, building over 225,000 homes, Wexford Habitat is a local, grassroots effort focused on eliminating sub-standard housing.

Through tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Wexford Habitat builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of Partner Families. Homes are sold at no profit with no-interest mortgage payments, which include taxes and insurance. Payments are made over a period of 15-25 years and deposited into a revolving Fund for Humanity, which supports the construction of more houses.

This community also has a strong network of community-minded churches and families willing to partner with other volunteers to revitalize their neighborhoods through building homes…and futures.

Support has already been received from individuals, churches, organizations and corporations - but for Wexford Habitat to meet its goals, we need YOU as a partner. Check out ways you can contribute and get involved with Wexford Habitat for Humanity.
